The details that count when you choose
Absence categories
Self-certification, sick leave, sick child, leave of absence, course, other. The categories follow The Working Environment Act at the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority and adapted to the company's needs.
Hours or whole days
Sick child registered in hours. Holiday in days. Both count in statistics.
Quota and annual transition
Controlled transfer to next year. Prevents December draining the reserve before January.
Notifiers
Configurable. The manager receives an email when something needs approval. Nothing is left pending.
Resource Planner
Absences are automatically displayed in the project's Gantt chart. Project managers see real-time availability.
Access level
The employee sees their own. The leader sees the team. HR sees everyone. All managed via Microsoft 365 permissions.

No, not for employees. My Page in Business Online is similar to what they already know from Microsoft 365. Managers will receive a brief overview of the approval workflow and reporting. Most businesses are operational within a week.
Yes, it can. We have integrations with Tripletex, Visma.net, Visma NXT and PowerOffice GO. Export of hours, holiday and absence can be set up as automatic transfer or manual export per payroll period.
They can be set up as external users with limited access. They will see their own absence and apply as normal. Permanent employees and managers will see them in the same overview, ensuring complete project planning.
Within your own Microsoft 365 environment. Business Online is not an external SaaS that retrieves data. The structure sits on top of SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook, which you already use. This means that GDPR handling, security, and access management follow the rules you have already set.
